The Global Panel, the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) and the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) organised a South Asia Regional Consultation on Agriculture and Food Systems in the Era of Sustainable Development.
Saturday 5th December the Global Panel was at COP21 to host the side event “Climate-Smart Food Systems for Enhanced Nutrition”, held at the Africa Pavilion – Paris Le Bourget.

A programme of different events were organised in Accra for the 3rd Global Panel annual meeting, hosted by the John A. Kufuor Foundation.
On the occasion of the 6th Africa Day for Food and Nutrition Security, the Global Panel is participating in the Africa Union Commission programme of events in Kampala, Uganda.
The 2015 Feeding Africa conference in Dakar included a session on nutrition which was held at 4pm on 22 October, and focussed primarily on child nutrition.

CFS 42 Side Event on Climate Change, Food Security and Nutrition: Cultivating Sustainable Diets and Food Systems
The Side Event: “Climate Change, Food Security and Nutrition: Cultivating Sustainable Diets and Food Systems” is a joint effort between the Global Panel, FANRPAN, Ag4Impact and the John Kufuor Foundation. It will take place next October 14th at the 42nd Session of the Committee on World Food Security in Rome (FAO HQ).
Accra has been selected as the venue for the third meeting of the Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition, from November 16th to November 18th 2015.
