Launch of our latest report, Building Resilience and Enhancing Nutrition in Africa’s food systems:

The Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition hosted a webinar on the 21st of January 2025 to launch its new report Building Resilience and Enhancing Nutrition in Africa’s food systems.
The event, attended by 150 participants, was chaired by Global Panel Chair, Sir John Beddington, and moderated by Panel members Dr. Shenggen Fan and Dr. Celso Moretti.
Prof. Evan Fraser, Chair of the Lead Expert Group (LEG), presented the main findings of the report. A distinguished panel of LEG members, including Dr. Patrick Kormawa (Sierra Leone), Dr. Mirriam Matita (Malawi), Dr. Andrew Jamali (Malawi), Adinew Abate (Ethiopia), Prof. Amos Laar (Ghana), and Prof. Andy Dougill (UK), participated in the discussion and addressed questions from the audience.
