The Global Panel at Nutrition for Growth (N4G) 2025

The Global Panel is looking forward to attending the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) 2025 event in Paris this week, and is pleased to support the new Global Compact on Nutrition for Growth, published by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs will host the event between 27-28 March. It aims to be a landmark moment for global leaders to embrace a new vision for nutrition and sustainable development by aligning policies and resources, integrating nutrition into broader development efforts across health, agriculture, education, and climate action, and closing the funding gap by delivering coordinated investments to bridge the $13 billion annual shortfall in nutrition funding. The Summit will gather a diverse audience, including Heads of State and Government, bilateral and multilateral donors, civil society organizations, UN organizations, philanthropies, the private sector, research institutions and media representatives.
The event will be structured around three core areas and three cross-cutting themes:
Core areas:
- Nutrition, health and social protection.
- Nutrition, transition to sustainable food systems and climate.
- Nutrition and resilience to crisis.
Cross-cutting themes:
- Nutrition and gender equality.
- Data, Research, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence.
- Financing and accountability for nutrition
These core areas and themes chime well with the work of the Global Panel over the last decade, where it has published extensively on the need for food system transformation to drive forward better nutrition, health, social protection, climate and environmental outcomes, working with Global leaders in food systems and nutrition to help develop evidence-based policy change. Our most recent report, Building Resilience and Enhancing Nutrition in Africa’s food systems, aligns well with the third Core Area.
