Briefing with the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub
We are delighted to be co-hosting a briefing with the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub and other food system professionals tomorrow, Wednesday, 23 April 2025, from 13:00 – 14:30 BST (GMT+1), to discuss insights from our latest report: Building Resilience and Enhancing Nutrition in Africa’s Food Systems.
It will provide a platform for policymakers, government officials, researchers, and development practitioners to engage with leading experts and discuss solutions to these pressing challenges.
The session will highlight key recommendations from the report, which is based on a 17-month research project funded by Irish Aid, focusing on food system resilience in Ethiopia, Malawi, and Sierra Leone. Participants will gain valuable insights into:
- The impact of climate change and conflict on food security.
- Practical policy recommendations for strengthening resilience in different settings.
- How to align national strategies with the Kampala Declaration on Africa’s agri-food systems.
