The Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition is seeking a Communications Officer to be part of a Secretariat team in London supporting the Global Panel work.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Communications Officer will be responsible for delivering an innovative programme of communications activities to assist the Secretariat and promote the work of the Global Panel. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enjoy working as part of a hard-working team, have a keen interest in international development and/or food systems and nutrition, and with experience in journalism/communications/PR or marketing, preferably within an international development environment, as well as proven publishing, editing and writing skills.
The post is full time and fixed-term until 31 March 2021 and candidates will preferably be available for an immediate start. The salary will be on the Professional salary scale Grade 5 in the range £34,238 - £39,304 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting).
